Economic growth in developed countries is usually dependent on technological progress and innovation. That is not the case in Greece, which ranks below most EU countries in most research and innovation indicators. DiaNEOsis new study, in collaboration with the German Institute for Economic Research DIW Econ, evaluates the many weaknesses -and a few surprising strengths- of the Greek innovation system and arrives at a set of policy recommendations for its rapid and complete overhaul.
